Ashtanga is a powerful, dynamic system of yoga developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009) in India relatively recently in yoga's long history. A set of increasingly challenging postures that link breath with flowing movements, building strength, flexibility and as you go. Eventually as you gain a deeper understanding and more familiarity with the practice you'll also learn to steady your mind as you move into a moving meditation.

The Essentials: A trimmed practice for those short of time or new to the practice. Guided Self-Practice: The traditional Mysore style class as has been taught for many years in the homeland of this style of Yoga which is in Mysore, Bangalore, India. Hence the name ;-)
Mysore Style: A Mysore class is the traditional method for learning this style of yoga with one to one teaching and adjustments, taking place in group setting This is only really suitable for our regular practitioners here at the studio, who have an established practice - but please get in touch if you think you'd like to join us.
Independant Self Practice: A Mysore class but with no hands on teaching or adjustments, this is only suitable for our regular practitioners here at the studio, who have an established practice.
